Join us for a ride to a jewel of the Bronx, Wave Hill. We’ll arrive as the Spring flowers are in bloom. Wave Hill is a 28-acre estate in the Hudson Hill section of Riverdale with a mansion/visitors center dating from 1843 and 1927. It has colorful gardens, a greenhouse with interesting flowering plants and spectacular views of the Hudson River and the Palisades. Once you’ve visited Wave Hill it will be one of your favorite places in New York.
Lunch will be at the Wave Hill Café where we’ll sit on the patio overlooking the river and grounds as we enjoy our food.
This is a Moderate Ride, not a Happy Face ride – with a 13-14 mph pace. Please do not sign up if you can’t keep up.
Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Bring a bike in good repair, a bike lock, a spare tube, water and money for lunch and the Entrance Fee ($10 Adults $6 Seniors 65+).
