About this event
We will meet by the statue at the start of the bike path in Cedar Creek County Park in Wantagh. One of the most spectacular bike paths in the New York Metro Region is the Ocean Parkway Coastal Greenway (or Jones Beach Bike Path) on Long Island which traverses almost the entire length of Jones Beach Island. It’s now a continuous 20-mile path between Cedar Creek County Park in Wantagh and Captree State Park in Babylon. Train from Jamaica due into Wantagh @ 9:37 and then it's a short pedal south to the park on Wantagh Ave. We will ride to Captree for a lunch break, where you can purchase food or bring a bag lunch.
