Thursdays are for dumplings, specifically, Taiwanese dumplings at Formosa, in Bushwick. We circumnavigate several Brooklyn neighborhoods and dip into Ridgewood, Queens, before arriving at Formosa. Here is a link to an article about the restaurant from Brooklyn Magazine (https://www.bkmag.com/2024/01/12/a-taiwan-dumpling-legend-sets-up-shop-in-bushwick/)
This ride will be at Moderate pace (12-15 mph on flat terrain). Lunch will be just past Mile 12, so bring snacks to keep you fortified.
After lunch, we will probably stop at Circo’s Pastry Shop for dessert, since it is only a mile away.
Make sure your bike is in good working condition with your tires properly inflated before leaving home in the morning. Bring a spare tube, a water bottle and sunscreen.
Always check the website and your email on the morning of the ride in case there is a last minute postponement.
Below is the RWGS of the route.
