This will be the first Brooklyn 2024 perimeter ride. Earn a Perimeter Patch by completing all 5 boro perimeter rides. We will ride around Brooklyn on many greenways, neighborhood streets, and a bridge or two. We will ride through many diverse Bklyn nabes along the water, through industrial areas, and from hip neighborhoods to older neighborhoods. The ride is mostly flat, with one big climb.
The ride is 53 miles. We are limiting the amount of riders so that we can maintain a steady urban pace. Lunch will be at the 24 mile stop along Emmons Ave and a sweet treat stop at mile 43. This is an all day ride starting promptly at 9AM and will end very late afternoon. Only sign up if you are able to do this ride 'til the end. If you choose to leave the ride, you can fuhggeddaboudit, you will not get credit. Participation is limited to 15 riders.
