Can you volunteer for Summer Streets on August 5, Aug 12 or Aug 19 between 7 am and 1 pm? All are Saturdays.

Summer Streets is a multi-day, annual, car-free event that will take place in Manhattan between the Brooklyn Bridge and 125th Street. Park Ave. South and connecting streets will be open to play, run, walk, and bike. The 5BBC will have a tent on Park Ave. South at 25 St. where we will repair bikes and invite attendees to learn about the Club.

We need volunteers who can pump tires; fix flats; fix minor chain, brake, or gear issues; answer questions about commuting, where to bike, and the Club; explain how Club rides work; manage repair lines; and have fun chatting with people enjoying a car-free day.

Let me know if you can pump tires, fix flats, adjust brakes, and adjust gears.
