Brooklyn has some police precincts that have true architectural merit.  Some of these magnificent structures were designed by famous architects, William Tubby, George Ingram, and Emile Gruwe.  Some have been repurposed, and some are continuing to serve their original function.  This ride visits seven of these historic precincts.

The ride ranges all around Brooklyn - Williamsburg, Bushwick, East New York, Kensington and Sunset Park.  The ride is 28 miles long, with 700 feet of elevation, the steepest being a manageable 5%.  Lunch will likely be at Vera's Soul Food in Brownsville at Mile 16.  THIS IS A CASH ONLY TAKE OUT RESTAURANT.  We will be eating at a park that is six blocks away.
