Take a Thursday short vacation and head out east for a relatively flat (highest grade is only 3.9%) and scenic ride around the Moriches with a few water views. We meet at the Speonk LIRR train station. A train arrives from the City at 9:50 (if driving please arrive by 9:30). We will leave right after the train arrives.

Ride will be around 35 miles and is a final warm up for Jodi and Jen as they leave Friday for the Pan-Mass Challenge. Ride is listed as moderate, but will be high moderate and will at times slightly exceed 15MPH and will maintain a steady pace, so we will get back to Speonk in time for the best pancakes (and other delights) at Little Gull Cafe (Jodi and Jen can start carbo loading). Those on the train will take the 2:03 from Speonk back to the City.

Please bring plenty of hydration, snacks, money for Little Gull if partaking, and an upbeat positive attitude ready to discover and eat pancakes). The ride is colisted with SBRA.
