There is no college in College Point, at least since St. Paul's Seminary closed around 1850. Even so, the College Point neighborhood has some places of interest. The Schleicher mansion stands on its own little traffic circle. Beech Court is as charming as ever. And looming over it all is the Poppenhusen Institute. Lunch will be PICNIC STYLE in scenic MacNeil Park at mile 18.

The ride is 37 miles long with 1,100 feet of elevation. Steepest grade is a 5%. The ride will be at a moderate pace, with a few stops in College Point.
