Rolling to Shirley Chisholm Park and Rollin Roaster -Memorial Weekend Fun
About this event

Nothing to do Memorial Weekend? Come join us as we roll over to Shirley Chisholm Park, looping around and looping back to Brooklyn's famous Roll-N-Roaster, where we will stop for lunch. We hear they give free water to all cyclists—well, that's us.
This ride will take us through some quiet Brooklyn streets as we make our way to Canarsie Pier and onto Shirley Chisholm, where we take in the views of this once city landfill that was transformed into a beautiful park in honor of the first African American woman to be elected to Congress—and she’s a Brooklyn lady.
This will be a moderate ride, but ALL ARE WELCOME, ESPECIALLY OUR NEW MEMBERS.
Please have all your bikey stuff: lights, spare tube, and hydration.
Always check your emails/website before leaving for the ride in case of any inclement weather.
