Take a day away from the City and head out east for some scenic riding and some spring training. We will ride from the Speonk LIRR train station out to the Shinnecock Canal and then make our way up to Hampton Bays to the rolling hills of Red Creek Park, followed by a brief food stop at a bagel place. Afterwards we will make our way back through Quogue, West Hampton and Remsenburg as we head back to Speonk. We will ride at a steady pace, as the ride will border between an upper moderate ride and a lower advanced ride. We will ride as a group with minimal use of point-drop-sweep. All in all 46 fun and varied miles. I am listing the ride as a moderate ride, but it will be a strong moderate.

We leave from the Speonk LIRR station at 10:00 am. A train from the city is scheduled to arrive a bit before that. If driving to the start, please be there no later than 9:45 am, so that you are ready to leave exactly at 10:00 am. Parking is free at the Speonk station. The ride ends at Speonk and folks can get a train back to the City.

Please bring snacks, hydration, and an upbeat, positive attitude, ready to explore and discover. Registration is limited, since some folks will be taking the LIRR. I will adjust if necessary, based upon how many folks will be driving to the start. Note that the ride will be co-listed with SBRA.
