Hello Members!

The Volunteer Committee is looking for a few volunteer members to promote the Club at the 5BBC table at the New York Bicycle Jumble on Saturday, May 16, near the Old Stone House, Fifth Ave & 4th St, in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

If you can help out for a couple hours, please click the "Register Now" button, then the green "Volunteer" button. You'll be able to sign up for 1 or more shifts.

The Bicycle Jumble is like a giant bike flea market. Vendors sell new and used bikes, new and used bicycle accessories, bike clothing and gear, and anything else bicycle-related. http://www.nybikejumble.com/ 

The 5BBC will have a table there and we need volunteers who will chat with people attending the Jumble, explain what the Club is, how our rides operate (from Happy Face to Quick Spin, including point-drop-sweep), highlight upcoming rides, promote club memberships and have people sign up for our mailing list. This is a great opportunity to promote the Club.

The Jumble will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will need members who can staff the table, be Club ambassadors who explain the Club to people attending the Jumble, and encourage visitors to join the Club.

Remember, you’re welcome to volunteer for as long or short a time as is convenient for you. The signup sheet is merely to give the Volunteer Committee an idea of who to expect, and when. If you have any trouble signing up, please email Volunteer@5BBC.org and we'll slot you in.
