What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by serving as a Bike Club Ambassador at a 5BBC table at Car-Free Earth Day and putting our Club on the map! Please save the date -- Saturday, April 25 -- and plan to do visitor outreach for a couple hours that day.

In partnership with the Department of Transportation, the Club will be doing another big outreach push in 2026. We hope to have 5BBC tables in locations such as Sunset Park in Brooklyn; Union Square Park and Dyckman Street in Manhattan; and Elmhurst, Queens. The exact locations are being determined and will depend upon whether we can get enough volunteers at each location. The event runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, and we'll be asking members to volunteer for 2-3 hour shifts. We’ll need a solid crew to help spread the word about the joys of cycling and why joining our club is the move.

You can choose whichever location works best for you, and if you can’t stay the whole time, no worries — just come by, pitch in, and be part of the momentum. Every bit of help counts, and we’d love to have you there!
