About this event

New York is the place where these two ancient cultures merged - and a new tradition was born. It begins at the end of the 19th century, on the Lower East Side, where Jewish and Chinese immigrants lived in close proximity. The very first mention of American Jews eating in a Chinese restaurant dates to 1899. And who are we to argue with tradition?
This is a 28-mile ride that heads to the New York Food Court in Flushing Chinatown. Lunch is at the 15-mile mark. The ride is 28 miles and has 700+ feet of elevation. There will be a five-minute grace period before the ride, then it's wheels down. Bring your usual bike stuff - a sturdy lock, spare tube, lights, etc. Please check the website for any weather-related changes.
And of course, you Goyim are invited as well.
