This is a pretty hilly ride. We start at the GW Bridge Bus Terminal (bathrooms) on the east side of Ft. Washington Ave. between 178th and 179th Streets, right under the ramp onto the bridge. From there, we go to River Road (hills), followed by a little detour to the State Line Lookout (hill). Then to Piermont via Tallman State Park (hard pack trail, not asphalt), then to Nyack, where you can choose among the many places to eat.
After lunch, it's over the Cuomo Bridge to the east side. We'll visit Lyndhurst estate immediately after the bridge (hill), then up another climb (Harriman Road) to the South County Rail Trail, where we get some respite before we hit the Bronx (hills). Then we'll go over the Henry Hudson Hudson Parkway Bridge, through Inwood Hill Park, and back to the GW.
Please bring your usual stuff, tire repair supplies, water, snacks, and your sense of adventure. Bail out point available at about mile 30 in Tarrytown, where you can catch the train back to Grand Central. It's nice to be able to ride as a group, so the rider limit is ten.
If the ride is full when you try to sign up, sign up anyway, but remember, if a slot comes free, you'll get an email telling you to sign up, and you should do so because it isn't automatic. Also, I'm looking for a co-leader. If you're interested, email me.

Too hot, too wet, too windy cancels, but that call will be made the day before the ride.
