About this event

If you missed it the first time, now is the time to hop on board a club favorite! No one loves bridges more than your two leaders, so join us as we ride the Bridges of New York City—five in all! We’ll cross the Brooklyn, Williamsburg (fondly known as the Willy B), Pulaski, Triboro, and finally, the Manhattan Bridge.

Get your heart pumping and legs burning as we CLIMB, CLIMB, CLIMB (yes, cursing is allowed!) these beautiful bridges with majestic views. The ride will take us through Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, and then back to Manhattan. And yes—there’s one more bridge to climb as we head back to the borough of Brooklyn. We’ll stop for lunch in Long Island City, with plenty of options to satisfy every palate.

We will be going over the Triboro, so PLEASE BE COMFORTABLE. THERE ARE TWO FLIGHTS OF STAIRS—ONE AT THE BEGINNING, ONE AT THE END—THAT WE CARRY OUR BIKES OR USE A ROLL-UP RAMP, BUT THIS BRIDGE IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE VIEW! Once over the Triboro (ok, RFK), we make our way through Wards Island with beautiful views of Manhattan.

This will be a MODERATE RIDE, so please be prepared to maintain a MODERATE PACE and be COMFORTABLE riding on bridges. The ride is limited to 15 riders. If you find you cannot make it, please be sure to UNREGISTER so someone on the waitlist can take your spot. As always, make sure your bike is in good working condition, and don’t forget your lights, hydration, spare tube, and helmet. Be sure to check the website and your emails the night before/morning of for any weather updates BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE RIDE.

Come burn off those extra calories with us as we huff and puff our way through Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
