About this event

 

We honor Indigenous Peoples' Day with a visit to Shorakkopoch Rock in Inwood HIll Park, the site where Peter Minuit may have "purchased" the island of Mannahatta from the native Lenape with glass beads and other tchotchkes worth an estimated $24.

 

Meet 10:30 inside Carl Schurz Park, 84th St & East End Ave. Lunch at Pizza Palace, mile 8. Ride ends at Dinosaur Playground, 97th St & Riverside Drive, mile 17.
