Join us for the Queens Perimeter Patch Ride!
Earn your patch by completing all 5 Borough Perimeter Rides—and this one’s all about Queens. We’re talking 50 miles of diverse terrain: waterfront views, bustling neighborhoods, and those classic stretches that make Queens feel like its own world. Expect mostly flat riding with some elevation to keep things interesting.
We’ll meet at 9:30 AM in front of City Acres Market at the intersection of Queens Plaza South and Jackson Avenue, accessible by the E, M, and R trains.
This is an upper moderate pace ride — about 14 mph on the flats — because we’ve got ground to cover. We will pick up lunch around mile 26, followed by a short spin over to Alley Pond Park, where we’ll stop to eat. We won’t dawdle too long — there’s still 24 miles left to go after lunch.
There will be a restroom shortly along the route for anyone who can’t wait until the stop outside Fort Totten.
If you sign up, please be ready to ride the full distance. Leaving early? Sorry, no patch credit. Them’s the breaks.
