This is a favorite event for many, bicyclists and tourists. They come year after year for this Gettysburg weekend and the weekend in the spring. It's been held for about 25 years! The hotel and often a second one, fills with bicyclists from all over

It's a unique weekend because included in the low price of $340- per person, double occupancy is lodging Friday and Saturday at the modern Wydham Hotel in Gettysburg and all meals are included (snacks and sandwiches are available for lunch).

There are rides scheduled for every day. No charge for any rides. Off road cycling can be done on the York Heritage Rail Trail. You will definitely find a ride to your liking. There will be rides at various distances and paces offered. Pedal-assist e-bikes are welcome.

You can ride every day, or choose not to and take some time to walk the Gettysburg battlefield, the Eisenhower National Historic site, and other sites nearby.

The beautiful indoor pool at the hotel is also available

• To go on this weekend, you must  pay the 5BBC transport fee Gettysburg PA 2025 transport fee , & register on the website of the Gettysburg Fall Bike Weekend 2025
  
• Join us! Pay early bird 5BBC transport fee $90 until September 25. Afterwards, the fee rises to $110.
• This cost is based on transporting 6 trippers, along with me, a van-certified driver. If we have 6 trippers, and myself, then a u-haul closed trailer will be used to carry the bicycles.
• The Gettysburg weekend cost is $340.00 per person, double occupancy for the entire weekend until September 25. After that it is $359. If anyone needs a roommate, please inform me. The organizer usually has others who need a roommate. If you wish a single room, add $190.00. Cancellations for the weekend are until October 9, minus a $5 fee. Trip reimbursement is availiable, minus the fee, if someone takes your room. The weekend is held rain or shine.
• I will lead a ride in the afternoon that we arrive, Friday, October 24, for 5BBC members. (Other cyclists may join us.)
