Rockin the 4th to Rockaway
About this event
Join us on July 4th as we rock out to Rockaway and enjoy the ocean views on a summer day. We will be riding on Greenways, as we head into Howard Beach, up and over the Cross Bay Bridge (wave to the fishermen), passing Jamaica Wildlife Reserve, and head on into Rockaway, riding along the ocean all the way to the end.
Lunch will be at our favorite deli before we head into Rockaway and its beautiful ocean views. What a great way to spend your 4th of July! We hear there may be an ice cream stop at everyone's favorite and Rockaway's famous Mara's, with their homemade treats and beautiful backyard seating (you'll feel like you're on vacation).
This will be a Moderate ride, but we will accommodate all. PLEASE be able to keep no less than 10 MPH in the back of the ride.

Please bring all your bikey stuff and hydration.
Quick dips are optional, so bring your bathing suit or ride in it!
