Walter’s of White Plains: A Greenway Ride with a Hot Dog Twist
About this event

Ready for a breezy escape from the city hustle? Join us for a fun, all-greenway ride from Van Cortlandt Park (242nd Street) to the legendary Walter’s Hot Dogs in White Plains! We’ll wind through shaded woods and peaceful bike paths for a relaxed-yet-energizing adventure with a delicious destination.
This is a straight-through ride, which means we’re pedaling nonstop to Walter’s, enjoying lunch together, and then riding straight back. No loops, no wandering—just smooth, scenic cycling with a tasty midpoint payoff. All participants should be able to ride 30 miles round trip at a mid-Moderate pace. We’re skipping the point-drop-sweep for this one, but there will be a sweep, so you’ll need to keep pace comfortably. If that sounds like you, come roll through the trees, soak up the scenery, and enjoy one of Westchester’s most iconic bites.
