Join us as we head away from the city and the 5BBT and enjoy a spring day looping out to Shirley Chisholm Park. We will have beautiful views of the bay and, if we are lucky, the JFK control tower. Shirley would be proud of this beautiful park named after her. If you are not riding in the Five Borough Bike Tour, this is a perfect way to spend your day—get out of the city and pedal happily away.

This is a Moderate ride, but we will accommodate Happy Face riders, and ALL NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME. 

The ride will take us on greenways over one ###!$ bridge before we make our way to SC Park. Lunch will be either pickup sandwiches (can you say Jimmy’s—the best in Brooklyn?) and a picnic at the park or a "famous" pizzeria, depending on the weather. Singing and dancing are optional if we picnic.

Please bring all bike stuff, and helmets are a must. IMPORTANT: PLEASE ALLOW YOURSELF EXTRA TIME TO GET TO THE START BECAUSE OF THE TOUR.
