TGIF, and for Acme Fish, a 4th generation, family owned/operated wholesale smoked fish biz. Their "Fish Fridays" (only time they allow retail in for the wholesale prices) is for we, the public. They're a really interesting company with great products, and the source behind salmon at many famous places, plus for Acme's own labels (Acme, Blue HIll Bay, Paramount Caviar).

It's a relaxed urban biking hop to Acme in Greenpoint, Bklyn from our start at Starbucks (NE corner First Ave & E60th St.). We will also stop for repast & bev on the way back, at Williamsburg Bagels (highly rated by locals). We don't anticipate using any point-drop-sweep; we'll ride as a group (but do print/bring cue sheet). ETA back in Manhattan at the 59th Street Bridge 10:30ish.
BYO carrying capacity for bringing back purchases (Acme's are sealed in an overly large brown box which most of us break down on the spot and transfer contents to our smaller carry bags), plus bike lock. And of course, mask, helmet, bike in good shape, tires pumped up, tube, etc. Please also bring a printed copy or phone image copy of your purchase receipt, which is what you'll need to show to verify purchase and enable pickup. Check it out:

NOTE: Specify your order for pickup at 8:45AM (selected while ordering). Some items may also be available for purchase day of if in stock (but of course our riders are ordering in advance PLS). Read website's order details carefully; here's the link:

REMINDER Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so if there's a wait list some folks can move up and take the slot. And of course, all riders should be familiar with the current criteria for riding with the 5BBC.
