Do stands of flickering golden aspen and multicolored maples raise your pulse? Are you a leaf peeper? If so, please join us as we cycle to Long Island's renowned "Gold Coast" to Sea Cliff. Sea Cliff is located on Long Island's North Shore, atop a 120-foot bluff. The village's Memorial Park offers breathtaking views of Hempstead Harbor, Long Island Sound, and the New York and Connecticut shorelines. The route there is also picturesque.

We'll start at 9:25 a.m. on Railroad Avenue, just south of the Westbury LIRR station. A train departs from Atlantic Terminal at 8:24 a.m., from Grand Central Madison at 8:25 a.m., both with transfers at Jamaica, and from Penn at 8:36 a.m., with no transfers. However, please confirm departure times closer to the event date. Lunch will be at the Forest Avenue Grill in Glen Cove around mile 26, which is a little late in the ride, so bring snacks and hydration to sustain you. Also, bring the usual tire repair stuff and dress appropriately for the weather. The route is also subject to change, as I may add a few extra miles to go by the shore, weather permitting.
