We will leave from Pleasantville and traverse via backroads to Mount Kisco where we will grab a quick bite (around mile 10-11) and then push on skirting the New Croton reservoir before heading back south to the outskirts of Ossining and finally back to Pleasantville.
This is a ride that will average 15-17 mph pace on the flats, and has almost 2,400 ft of climbing! Our first stop will be in Mount Kisco for a quick coffee break. When we reach the outskirts of Ossining a little after mile 32 we will have another food option, or push on and finish at a diner across the street from the train station in Pleasantville, mile 36. Come prepared with 2 full bottles of water and snacks for the in-between.
The ride will leave from the Pleasantville train station at 9:15 am. If you’re arriving via Metro North, there is a train departing Grand Central at 8:09am, arriving at 9:05 am. For those driving, please find parking in either the Train station parking lot or somewhere nearby, and be ready to go when the train folks arrive.
