Discover your next great ride. Join us on our next adventure through Southern Westchester County, where we will circle the Cranberry Lake Preserve. (Unfortunately, and understandably, bicycles are not permitted on their trails.) However, the route provides beautiful scenery and low-traffic cycling along the lake. This is a ride for advanced riders because the route is mostly on city streets (no greenways) and the terrain is hilly. As an Advance ride, please be able to maintain a speed of at least 15 mph on the flats.
This is a point-to-point ride, meaning we start in one place and end in another. We meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Charles A. Dana Discovery center on the east side of 110th Street. There are restrooms at this location. The ride will officially end at the Soundview Ferry station in the Bronx. See Soundview Routes & Schedules for route and fare information. Please read here and here too and here also to make certain your bike is road worthy on event day.
