Ring Around the Harbor

Come join us as we circle around the NY-NJ Harbor.  Up and down and all around the towns as we cycle our way through our two favorite states.  And, what's a ride through NJ without a "special climb over our favorite, the Bayonne Bridge?" This ride includes ferry hopping:

1 - Ferry from Midtown Manhattan to Union City, NJ - ride through Hoboken into Jersey City - into Bayonne

Lunch stop - Broadway Diner
- Pancakes anyone?  World's best  PLEASE BRING A LOCK so we can lock the bikes together

2 - We will make our way to the Bayonne Bridge through Staten Island, where we will catch the Staten Island ferry back to New York.

This ride was inspired by the shorter version of the Harbor Ring Ride, which advocates for a 60-mile recreational route around the New York Harbor.  Please check them out and support them here:  https://harborring.org/

This ride will be limited to 15 riders and 2 leaders.  Please note this ride will be a faster pace and this is not intended for Happy Face riders.  This could be a longish day so please be aware of that.
Things to bring and ride information:

1 - Helmet, Lights, Spare tube, Hydration, and $$$ for Lunch

2 - There will be a charge on the NY Waterway ferry going to NJ.

$9.50, please make sure you are prepared.

     More info is here: https://www.nywaterway.com/PortImperialWeehawkenRoute.aspx

3 - Ferries run every 20 minutes.

4 - If weather is inclement that day, please check your email and website for any changes / cancellations.

5 - The RideWithGPS route is here and the cue sheet is here. Please print a copy or use the Ride with GPS route.

If you are unable to attend the ride, please "unregister" in a timely fashion so that those on the waitlist can move up and take the spot. Lastly, if you sign up for the waitlist and receive a waitlist notification, you must open the email and register for the ride using the link provided in the email. The system does not automatically bump you up to the ride if a spot becomes available.
