It's never too early in the season to do some hills! This ride has two classics, River Road and State Line. River Road is so pretty and State Line affords such a spectacular view of the Hudson (and sometimes raptors!) that they are both worth the work. It ain't a race, it's a journey so just put it in the low gear and peddle. Lunch will be al fresco (temperatures permitting) on the Piermont Pier, (bring your own or try out Canzona's Market in Piermont. Rain or temps below 35 cancel, (but that's not going to happen).
