If you didn't already love The Bronx - you will after this ride. This ride highlights the trails and parks in The Bronx - focusing on some of the newer and less utilized trails. We start out at Columbus Circle and use the Connectors to and from Randall's Island. We ride up through the South Bronx.

There is a new trail from Garrison into Concrete Plant Park - and another new trail into Starlight Park. We use the new Bronx Street Trail to 180 and the Bronx Park Trail all the way around to Southern Boulevard.

Lunch is at the Bronx Retail Market that has various choices. And there is always Full Moon Pizza if the Market does not work. NOTE - Lunch does not come until mile 16, bring snacks if you get hungry. The way back will be through Crotona Park and across the Madison Ave Bridge and down Fifth Ave to 110th Street at the top of the park.

This is a 23 mile ride with about 700 feet of elevation. Moderate pace ride. Part of this ride is a true scout as we are on different roads than usual and new trails. Bring a sturdy lock, lights, and tube.
