Nice little trip to pick up gourmet/specialty smoked fish products at ACME/Greenpoint, that mecca of yummy food during the company's longstanding "Fish Friday" specials. It's the one time of the week that we mere mortals can buy the famous smoked fish at wholesale prices. Please note: probable coffee/snack/provisioning meandering and stop afterward in LES/Chinatown.

MEET: 8:00AM promptly at southwest corner of E54th Street/3rd Avenue (the Citicorp building). If needed in advance of ride start, public restrooms on lower level, the atrium floor (can't bring bike in). We then follow 54th to the river, to adventure over the recently completed UES Greenway, before climbing the 60th Street bridge "hill".

BRING: The usual bike and safety gear, tubes/pump, hydration. Bright or safety colors for your kit to be visible. Carrying capacity - - ACME boxes their orders, which we usually strip open and move contents to our own smaller bags (it's like Amazon Prime packaging . . way too much "air" and box material to be eco-conscious).

A little damp or showers won't stop us, but if anything of serious consideration to deter safe/enjoyable cycling, then ride update will be posted by 6:30AM Friday (UGH) the latest, or more likely, as early as 8PM Thursday.
