According to the NYT, “Jimmy Durante and Eddie Cantor, then singing waiters at Coney Island, lent Nathan the money to open his hot dog stand. They also complained that a dime was a lot of money for a frankfurter”.

With that being said we are going for a nice flat ride to Nathan’s in Coney Island. Along the way, we may stop at Calvert Vaux Park for a glimpse of the Yellow Submarine..

We will be starting at Grand Army Plaza we will be going through a few Brooklyn neighborhoods and using bike lanes and onto the greenway along Shore Parkway Greenway trail and back to Grand Army Plaza.

So please bring a happy attitude and appetite. Bring all bike stuff and hydration and money for your lunch.
