About this event
Friendship. A warm place on a winter's day. This is the Hallmark of the 5BBC. The "Frost Bites" answers the question, when is too cold to ride a bike. NEVER!
So, this is the deal. We start at City Hall Park at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge, take the PATH to N.J. where we give our respects to a statue of a Summer great, Jackie Robinson. Then, we follow the west coast through a couple of parks, pass the home of where the 39¢ coffee died, cross over to the east for those deelicious pancakes (or anything else you might fancy in the Broadway Diner}.
On our way back, we'll give our respects to the Lady in the Harbor and a statue honoring the WWII G.I.s rescuing survivors of Auschwitz, the site of the biggest explosion ever, a railroad terminal that's now a museum and end up in Hoboken for the trip across the Hudson and home.
