We will visit the unique and splendiforous creation, the Rosebank Grotto. This grotto was started by Vito Russo (1885 - 1954) who started constucting this after the death of his son. The grotto's construction continued as a community effort. Sections of it were made indoors. The grotto is the site of the annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel's feast day on July 16.
Then we will continue to the Asbury Methodist Cemetery on the grounds of Son Rise Faith Church to view the family gravestone of Colonel Ichabod Crane.

That was the name of the main character of the book "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Written by Washington Irving who once met Colonel Crane in the early 1800's. Buried in the same plot is his wife, Charlotte, his son William and the valet of Ichabod, a native American, Juan of the Umpca tribe.
