Join us on one of 5BBC's most popular rides! Get your fill of Westchester's Croton Reservoir with three lake crossings: the Putnam Railroad Bridge, the Old Croton Dam (Gate House) Bridge, and the New Croton Dam. Ride also features the car-free Putnam Trail, gorgeous views from a lake shore road, and a visit to the best ice cream north of the Croton River.

 

Ride starts in Van Cortlandt Park, distance is 37 miles, and cruising speed is 12-14 mph. Bring or buy lunch. Train fare is $11.25 for return from Croton-Harmon to GCT.

Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Bring a spare tube. There is a limit of 14 riders. Additional sign-ups will be wait-listed. If you are on the wait list and a slot opens you will get an email but to be on the ride you must return to this webpage and register. Ride could be canceled for bad weather; check your email before heading out.
