• UPDATE: Trains from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie are not running. The ride is still "ON" but you will have to get to Poughkeepsie some other way. Meet at Poughkeepsie Station at 9:57 AM.
• We're heading up north to Ulster County for leaf peeping and for riding 4 historic bridges: Springtown Truss Bridge in New Paltz, Rosendale Trestle, Perrine's Bridge (2nd oldest covered bridge in NY), and of course the one and only Walkway Over the Hudson.
• Ride distance is 40 miles and elevation gain is a moderate 1350 ft. The route includes 8 miles of crushed stone and hardpack trail that should be acceptable to most cyclists but there could be a few muddy spots.
• Trains from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie are not running. The ride is still "ON" but you will have to get to Poughkeepsie some other way. 
  
• If you are driving to Poughkeepsie or have another way of getting there, meet us at the station at 9:57.
• Lunch is at a restaurant in Rosendale.
• Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Bring lights; it might be dark when we get back to NYC. A bungee will help secure your bike on the train.
