

Bay Ridge has become a mecca for Palestinian food. There is so much to choose from. Our destination will be Al Aqsa, where we will pick up our food and carry it to Owls Head Park for a picnic lunch. We will be traveling through many different neighborhoods: Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Midwood, Homecrest, Gravesend, Bensonhurst and finally, Bay RIdge.
This ride is rated as Moderate. That means 12-15 mph pace on flat terrain.
Mileage: 20 Miles
Lunch will be almost three-quarters into the ride, so bring snacks. After lunch we have a little over 5 miles back to Grand Army Plaza.
Please bring a bike in good working condition. Make sure your tires are properly inflated before heading from home. Bring a spare tube, a helmet, sunscreen, at least one water bottle and snacks to keep you fortified before we reach our lunch spot.
