Hello 5BBC Members:

We are seeking members to volunteer for a 5BBC table at the Five Boro Bike Tour's (a) pre-ride packet pickup before the ride and (b) at the Finish Festival at the end of the ride.

Packet Pickup will be:

• the afternoon and evening of Thursday, May 2;
• all day and the evening of Friday, May 3rd; and
• the morning and afternoon of Saturday, May 4th.

Packet pickup will be at Center 415 on Fifth Avenue and 37th Street in midtown Manhattan. Exact times TBD.

The Finish Festival will be at the end of the ride at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island on the day of the ride, which will be Sunday, May 5th. We can use assistance with early morning setup and then at the Festival from around 10:00 a.m. until the end of the Festival around 6:00 pm.

The 5BBC will have a table at these events and we need volunteers who will chat with people attending the package pickup and Finish Festival, explain what the Club is, how our rides operate (from Happy Face to Quick Spin, including point-drop-sweep), highlight upcoming rides, promote club memberships and have people sign up for our mailing list. This is a great opportunity to promote the Club.
