About this event
Bicycle from the Princeton Junction train station through farmlands and stop for some history at the Monmouth Battlefield State Park. This battle was a decisive battle of the Revolutionary War. You can walk the battlefields and may cover the same ground as George Washington, Aaron Burr, Alexander Hamilton and other Continental Army figures. Or you may walk where the British, such as Lord Stirling, Cornwalis or Clinton were fighting. The pace will be an advanced moderate pace, 43.8 miles.
After the park, we can stop for lunch at Gus's Diner, mile 25.2. On the way back, it's always nice to get some ice cream at Gil and Bert's in Cranberry, NJ.
