Head a little east and come join us for a quick day of scenic riding followed by lunch at the adorable Little Gull Cafe (https://www.littlegullcafe.com/) who happen to have the best pancakes ever (they use a sourdough batter). The ride will start promptly at around 9:50 at the Speonk LIRR train station, when a train from the City is scheduled to arrive. If driving to the start, please arrive at least 20 minutes in advance in order to leave as soon as the train arrives. We are on a tight schedule for this ride.

We will head out on a 33 or so scenic mile ride through Remsenburgh, West Hampton and Quogue seeing the sights, but maintaining a steady slightly brisk pace on basically flat terrain to get us back to have enough time for lunch. After the ride, we will have lunch at Little Gull, which is located at the Speonk train station and which closes at 2:00 but that is ok, as the return train to the City is scheduled to leave at 2:03. All in all a quick, compact day, but well worth it for the scenery and the pancakes (and their other offerings).

Please bring plenty of hydration, snacks, money for lunch, the usual bike requirements and an upbeat inquisitive, fun attitude, ready to explore, discover and enjoy pancakes.
