Nothing fancy here. This is just a nice winter ride to the Mill Basin and Bergen Beach neighbourhoods of Brooklyn. While in often overlooked Bergen Beach, we will visit lovely Ecology Park and the Paerdegat Trail. The cover photo for the ride was taken from here. On the way back, we will make a brief stop in Flatlands to visit the Flatlands Reform Dutch Church and its ancient cemetery. Some of the headstones are in Dutch. Lunch will be at Mile 15 - and we will do a group choice of either a traditional IHOP or Hook & Reel.

Ride begins and ends at GAP. The ride is a flat 22 miles. Bring your normal. bike stuff - and make sure that your ride is in good working order. There will only be a five-minute grace period at the start - then it's wheels down. Please check the website for any weather-related issues.
